Welcome to new ULLA member - Katholieke
Universiteit Leuven
ULLA warmly welcomes Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Faculty
of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a member of the consortium from
July 1 2008.
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Leuven has been
invited to join the consortium, and has kindly accepted the
invitation, due to its strong position in research and training
within pharmaceutical sciences. The activites in Leuven supplement
the activites of the other ULLA institutions very well and
synergies are expected.
The ULLA member institutions look forward to strengthening
their co-operation with the University of Leuven.
Summer school 2009
The next ULLA Postgraduate Summer School will be held at
the University of Copenhagen on 26 June to 4 July 2009.
The Summer School will be organised with a symposium day
on Saturday June 27, social programme on Sunday June 28 and
courses on Monday June 29 to Friday July 3.
Summer school 2007
The (8th) ULLA summer school was carried through with great
success in Leiden/Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 29 June
to 7 July 2007.
The host LACDR had organised an inspiring and challenging
academic programme with courses, poster sessions and symposium
day.
On the social side the participants were busy practicing
their networking skills at dinners and beer drinking, boat
trip, on bike trips in the lush green Dutch country side in
sunshine and in rain and playing farmers golf (playing golf
with hand balls while wearing wellingtons on muddy fields).
