ULLA Textbooks "ULLA Pharmacy Series"

Second book published

Pharmaceutical Press has in January 2007 announced the publication of the
second title in the "ULLA pharmacy series", Paediatric Drug Handling,
written by Ian Costello, Paul F Long, Ian Wong, Catherine Tuleu and Vincent Yeung.

Paediatric Drug Handling is written for new pharmaceutical scientists and is
designed to provide a background in paediatric pharmacy and a comprehensive
introduction to children's medication.

The first title in the "ULLA pharmacy series", Pharmaceutical Toxicology,
edited by Gerard J Mulder and Lennart Dencker was published in June 2006.

Pharmaceutical Toxicology is a textbook with a focus on medicinal drugs. It
covers the most important safety issues of drugs including mechanisms of toxicity
and registration requirements.

Paediatric Drug Handling and Pharmaceutical Toxicology are available for purchase at
www.pharmpress.com.

News release on "ULLA Pharmacy Series"

What is the "ULLA Pharmacy Series"?

The "ULLA Pharmacy Series" is a new and innovative series of introductory textbooks for
students in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences by the ULLA
Consortium.

The titles in this new groundbreaking series are aimed at PhD students but will
also appeal to postgraduate students undertaking masters or diploma courses,
undergraduates for specific courses and practising pharmaceutical scientists.

Initial titles will include Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Paediatric Drug Handling,
Molecular Biopharmaceutics, Proetomics and Metabolomics in Pharmaceutical
Science
and Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Polymers.

Paul Weller, Director of Development at Pharmaceutical Press, said:

“We are delighted to be working with the ULLA Consortium in the development of this
important new series. Many individuals worldwide embark on post-graduate
courses in the pharmaceutical sciences and would benefit from access to
reasonably priced introductory texts on specific areas of pharmaceutical science”.
